Cambrian

by Serge Devadder

/
  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

    Factory-pressed glass-mastered Compact Disc

    Code: SDCD.001 / self-released (2014)

Comes in a standard jewel case (sealed).
The booklet features a wonderful cover-painting by Birgit Schweimler.

This is my first ambient solo release with recordings from the period 1992 till 2014. Most tracks feature synth- or guitar-based loops. A deep, slow record but with some quirky surprises.

The common element to all the pieces on Cambrian is their “aquatic” and somewhat melancholic mood. To me, they hint of an ancient geological epoch, when earth’s young and violent oceans were haunted by wonderfully exotic creatures - some of which were our ancestors.
